Travel Shots

I know this is a bit backwards, but here are some snapshots of our [very easy, uneventful] travel. All flights on time. We met Jean's [sleepless] nephew Glen, as planned, in Houston. We were picked up in a van - loaded all suitcases on the top and drove an hour southwest, through the lovely old town of Antigua, to our project site.

Hola from Guatemala!

We arrived tired and excited late afternoon yesterday to this beautiful compound known as El Projecto. It is surrounded by volcanos, mountains, and many tropical plants. After a night in Antigua complete with Italian food, we headed home for a good nights rest. The birds woke us up this morning and we are preparing for the adventures we are going to encounter today! Making panels for the house we will be building, sorting all the donations we brought, going on social worker visits, and a cooking exchange. Needless to say we are having a great time! All our love.
